Our pilot evacuation parachute holds both the TSO c23d certification as well as
SAE AS 8015B category “B” certification. This certification requires
testing so rigorous that only 4 companies have received the c23d rating. To receive
this all-important certification, the entire system (harness and parachute) is
required to be tested under extreme temperature and pressure conditions.
The Pilot utilizes a hand-deployment system, which supports a free fall of
up to 200 miles per hour. And it uses the same TSO rated canopy as our building
evacuation parachute, with slight differences in the multi-use, military grade
harness to reflect the specific mounting location: Belly
Mount, Back Mount and Seat
Mount.
