BAR systems (Ballistic Aircraft Recovery systems) are whole aircraft emergency parachute
recovery systems. BAR systems are intended for use in the event of an in-air emergency
and bring down the entire aircraft and its occupants under the controlled descent
of a our parachute canopy.
These systems, in an in-air emergency situation, may be activated by the pilot
releasing a parachute that is designed to open quickly, slow the descent of the
aircraft, and lower the aircraft and its occupants safely to the ground to prevent
or reduce human injury and damage to the aircraft.
Emergency Evacuation Systems is one of the two companies in the world who produce
BAR systems. We hold the deployment speed record and have a perfect deployment
record with several documented saves.
We produce different BAR system for the different sizes and speeds of aircraft.
